Brookfield Properties files plans for $7.1M in rehabs at 1100 Avenue of the Americas
Brookfield Properties, on September 29, filed two permit applications for work at 1100 Sixth Avenue in Grand Central totaling $7.1 million.
The developer in June received a $171 million construction loan to rehab the building, which it plans to reclad in glass.
The larger was a permit application for a $4.1 million in work in the 150-foot tall, 15-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: removal and installation of interior nonbearing partitions as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $4,144,155.

The second project totaled $3 million.
