Brookfield finishes $8M multi-floor rehab at Grace Building
Brookfield Properties, on March 25, formally completed an $8 million rehabilitation of several floors of the Grace Building at 1114 Avenue of the Americas, in Grand Central, in Manhattan.
The plans, pre-filed on December 20, 2019, call for a rehab of floors five through seven of the 591-foot tall, 47-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: removal and installation of interior non-bearing partitions and related finishes as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,000,000.
Gensler was the architect.
The developer upped their debt by $350 million to $1.25 billion at the building in November of last year.
