Brookfield finishes $7.3M rehab of commercial space at 5 Manhattan West
Brookfield Properties, on January 8, formally completed a $7.3 million rehabilitation of two floors of commercial space in 5 Manhattan West at 450 West 33rd Street in Hudson Yards.
The plans, pre-filed on December 21, 2017, call for a rehab of floors one and two and the mezzanine floors of the 240-foot tall, 15-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: application filed for interior non-structural demo and general construction work associated with renovation for commercial space. No change in use, egress and occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $7,265,214.

The developer has wrapped up several rehab projects at the building in recent months. In December, a $15.1 million rehab floors six and seven was completed. The month earlier, a $14.7M multi-floor rehab was finished.
