Brookfield finishes $3.1M multi-floor rehab of Battery Park City office building
Brookfield Properties, on April 22, formally completed a $3.1 million rehabilitation of two floors of an office building at 250 Vesey Street in Battery Park City.
The plans, pre-filed on September 23, 2019, call for a rehab of the 13th and 14th floors of 473-foot tall, 33-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation to include demo of existing and construction of new partitions and finishes as shown on plans. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. (13, 14 construction/14, 15 marketing). The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3,144,074.
LSM was the architect listed.
The developer recently completed a $13.3 million rehab of space in the building which is leased by Jane Street Capital. The proprietary trading firm signed a 15-year lease for a portion of the fourth floor as well as the entire fifth and sixth floors of the building back in 2014.
