Bronx charter school files plans for $34M project related to excavation of 76K sf school in Mott Haven
South Bronx Charter School For International Cultures & the Arts filed plans for a $33.9 million project at the site of a proposed school building at 2500 Park Avenue in Mott Haven, the Bronx. The plans call for structural work.
In the previous 12 months there have been a total of eight plans calling for $109,602,627 of work at the site. The school has filed two other similarly priced plans, first on December 2, 2021, and then on December 17, 2021, both plans are still active.
Last year, the school filed a permit application for construction of a 76,486-square-foot school building at 199 East 135th Street. The entry will be at 2500 Park Avenue. Stephen Grasso of Partners for Architecture is the architect.
The plans call for structural work and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00645987.
