Brisa Builders Corp. files plans for 72-room shelter in Far Rockaway
Brisa Builders Corp., on June 24, filed a permit application for construction of a 72-room, 19,820-square-foot shelter at 12-60 Brunswick Avenue in Far Rockaway, Queens. James Holland filed the plans.
There have been 21 new building plans, including these, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.
The plans call for the construction of a 37-foot-tall, three-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00751656.
The project is described in the filing as: new building for Brunswick Shelter for Adult Families (Use group 5, Transient Hotel, three-story with cellar).
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby and 22 rooms. The second floor will have 26 rooms and the third floor will have 24 rooms. The cellar will have recreation space and offices.
The architect listed is Paul A. Castrucci, Architect.
