Bolivar Development files plans for 118K sf school in Inwood

Peter Fine of Bolivar Development, on February 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 118,231-square-foot school building at 401 West 218th Street in Inwood.

The plans call for the construction of a 104-foot tall, eight-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: an eight-story new building.

The ground floor of the building will have a lobby, kitchen, office, conference room, dining area, and classroom space, per the filing. The second floor will have classrooms, a playground, nurse room, and storage. Floors three through eight will each have classroom and office space. The roof will provide an outdoor playground.

GF55 Architects is listed as the architect.

Demolition plans have not been filed yet for the single-story commercial building currently occupying the property.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.
