Billy Xiao permitted for 40-unit resi building in Bath Beach

Billy Xiao through the company B & J Bay Property Inc., on December 30, was given a permit for construction of a 40-unit, 36,253-square-foot residential building at 8800 Bay Parkway in Bath Beach, Brooklyn.

Both new building and foundation permits were issued.

The plans, pre-filed on December 11, 2018, call for the construction of a 70-foot tall, seven-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed seven-story multifamily residential building, with community facility at first floor.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and health care facility. The second floor will have recreation space and seven dwelling units. Floors three through six will each have eight dwelling units per floor. The seventh floor will have recreation space and one dwelling unit. The cellar will have parking for 20 cars.

Angelo Ng & Anthony Ng Architects is listed as the architect

The property was acquired for $3.5 million on May 22, 2018.
