BFC Partners files plans for a 274-unit residential building in Staten Island
BFC Partners, on May 5, filed a permit application for construction of a 274-unit, 207,614-square-foot residential building at 475 Bay Street in Stapleton, Staten Island.
The plans call for the construction of a 123-foot tall, 12-story, residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: filing herewith for a 12-story residential and commercial new building.
Building plans indicate residential units will begin on the second floor. Floor two through six will have 33 units each, floors seven through 11 will have 19 units each, and the 12th floor will have 14 units as well as a lounge, children’s room, exercise room, and recreational room.
BFC Partners had been renting the property prior to purchasing it for $3,450,000 on December 19, 2016. They were originally using it to house displaced residents from their Empire Outlets project on the Staten Island waterfront.
