B&B Urban permitted for 170 units in Williamsbridge
B&B Urban, on March 4, was given permits for construction of a total of 170 units in two projects in Williamsbridge, the Bronx.
The larger is an 87-unit, 94,430-square-foot residential building at 718 East 212th Street and the other is an 83-unit, 77,047-square-foot residential building at 713 East 211th Street. Alan Bell, a principal of B&B Urban, filed both of the plans.
According to a report, the apartments are a mix of studios, one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms and three-bedrooms. 52 of the apartments will be set aside for the formerly homeless.
Both of the permits were plumbing permits. The developer received initial foundation and new building permits in November 2020.
The larger plans, pre-filed on November 8, 2018, call for the construction of a 76-foot tall, eight-story, mixed-use building at 718 East 212th Street.
The project is described in the filings as: new eight-story mixed-use dwelling.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby, vestibule, laundry room, library, common room, recreation space, and 10 dwelling units. Floors two through eight will each have 11 dwelling units per floor. The cellar will have office space.
The property was acquired with two other properties for $10.8 million on December 17, 2020.

The second plans, pre-filed on December 3, 2018, call for the construction of a 75-foot tall, eight-story, 77,047-square-foot residential building with 83 residential units at 713 East 211th Street.
The ground floor will have several common rooms, a laundry room, a residential lobby, and eight dwelling units. Floors two through six will each have 11 dwelling units per floor, while floors seven and eight will each have 10 dwelling units per floor. The seventh floor will have a roof deck. The building will also have an outdoor garden.
MHG Architects is listed as the architect for both projects.
The property was acquired with two other properties for $10.8 million on December 17, 2020.
