Barone Management receives TCO for 84K sf office in LIC

Barone Management, on March 29, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of an 84,599-square-foot office building with warehouse space at 9-03 44th Road in Long Island City, Queens. John Silviano filed the plans.

The plans, pre-filed on July 27, 2017, call for the construction of a 51-foot tall, three-story, building. The time from pre-file to TCO was three years and eight months.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed three-story office building.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building has warehouse space and a lobby. The second floor has office, a conference room, and recreation room. The third floor has additional office space. The building also has a roof deck.

According to The Real Deal, the developer spent $30 million on the ground-up development. The warehouse space will be set aside for small businesses that were “pushed out” by larger e-commerce businesses.
