Plans filed for 72K sf office, retail building in Flushing

Li Tian Ji through the company Northern Star Management LLC filed a permit application for construction of a 72,563-square-foot commercial office building with retail space at 36-63 Main Street in Flushing, Queens.

The building will occupy three tax lots.

The plans call for the construction of a 140-foot tall, 11-story commercial building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number Q00486849.

The project is described in the filings as: propose 11-story commercial new building with sub-cellar, cellar and basement. Require DOB stamped objection on parking reduction for B.S.A variance.

The estimated job cost is listed as $14,885,125.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a parking garage and storage space. In total, the building will have 126 parking spaces. Floors two and three will have retail spaces. Floors four through seven will be used for ambulatory health care facility space. Floors eight through 11 will be used for office space. The basement will have additional retail space, while the basement will have more parking spaces.
