Baki Celaj files plans for 22-unit mixed-use building in Riverdale

Baki Celaj through the company Mashbloc LLC, on October 30, filed a permit application for construction of a 22-unit, 22,896-square-foot mixed-use building at 6201 Broadway in Riverdale, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of a 70-foot tall, seven-story mixed-use building.

The project is described in the filings as: construction of new seven-story mixed-use building.

The building’s cellar will have storage space and parking for 11 cars. The ground floor will have a residential lobby, laundry room, daycare lobby, and retail space. The second floor will be used for a daycare facility. Floors three through six will each have five dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have two dwelling units and a recreation space.

KR Design Group LLC is listed as the architect for the development.

Demolition plans were filed in February for the one-story building occupying the property. The demolition plans were permitted on October 13.

An estimated completion date has not been announced, according to reports.

The developer purchased the property for $1.6 million in December of 2019.
