Azimuth Development Group receives TCO for 46K sf resi building in Longwood Melrose
Azimuth Development Group, on January 4, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 57-unit, 46,503-square-foot residential building at 702 Grand Concourse in Longwood Melrose, the Bronx.
The building is part of the Concourse Village West affordable housing project.
The plans, pre-filed on March 7, 2017, call for the construction of a 133-foot tall, 14-story residential building. The time from pre-file to TCO was three years and 10 months.
The project is described in the filings as: cellar plus 14-story residential new building.
The cellar of the building has laundry, per the plans. The ground floor has a residential lobby, recreation space, a community area, and three dwelling units. Floors two through nine each have four dwelling units per floor, floors 10 and 11 each have five dwelling units per floor, and floors 12 through 14 each have four dwelling units per floor.
Aufgang Architects was the architect behind the design.
Monthly rent for the units will vary from $623 per month for a one-bedroom to $1,028 per month for a two bedroom, according to reports.
