Aview Equities files plans for 131-unit resi building in Kensington

Aview Equities, on May 18, filed a permit application for construction of a 131-unit, 150,900-square-foot residential building at 23 Ocean Parkway in Kensington, Brooklyn. Abraham Leifer filed the plans.

The plans call for the construction of a 90-foot tall, nine-story building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number B00501131. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: hereby filing for a new nine-story (R-2) residential building.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, recreation room, exercise room, a garage entrance, and 13 dwelling units. Floors two through five will each have 16 dwelling units per floor, the second floor will also have a public terrace. Floors six and seven will each have 15 dwelling units per floor, while floors eight and nine will each have 12 dwelling units per floor. The roof will have an outdoor terrace. The cellar will have an exercise room and parking for 51 cars.

Gene Kaufman Architect PC is listed as the architect.

The estimated job cost is $10 million.

The property was acquired for $7.2 million on May 22, 2014.
