Anbau files plans for 32-unit resi building in Chelsea
Anbau, on May 18, filed a permit application for construction of a 32-unit, 46,809-square-foot residential building at 428 West 19th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan.
Alexander Glascock filed the plans. According to his LinkedIn page he a principal and cofounder of Lockhill Properties. Stephen Glascock, his father, is the Chairman of the firm, which owns the building according to city records.
The plans call for the construction of a 115-foot tall, 11-story building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number Q00497139. The development site spans two tax lots.
The project is described in the filing as: Erect 11-story new building as per plans.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, one parking space, and two dwelling units. The second floor will have three dwelling units, Floors three through eight will each have four dwelling units per floor, floors nine and 10 will each have two dwelling units per floor, and the 11th floor will have one dwelling unit. The roof will have terraces. The cellar will have laundry and a fitness amenity space.
The property was acquired for $12.3 million on July 21, 2020.
The developer then paid Blackstone Group $2 million for 5,800 square feet of air rights from the apartment building 434 West 19th Street
Angelo Ng & Anthony Ng Architects is listed as the architect.
