Asset Realty and Construction Group files plans for 129K sf storage building in Rockaway Park

Asset Realty and Construction Group, on November 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 129,734-square-foot storage building at 106-02 Rockaway Beach Boulevard in Rockaway Park, Queens. Dino Tomassetti, President and CEO of the firm, filed the plans.

The estimated job cost is $12 million.

The plans call for the construction of a 78-foot-tall, six-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00608821. The development site spans one tax lot.

Renderings for the project were released earlier this year.

The project is described in the filing as: Proposed new six-story self storage building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have retail space, storage space, and parking space. Floors two through six will all be used for storage space. The cellar will have parking for 83 cars.

The architect listed is T.F. Cusanelli & Filletti Arch.

The property was acquired for $2.5 million on November 8, 2019.
