Slate Property Group files plans for 26-unit mixed-use building in Rego Park

Slate Property Group, on November 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 26-unit, 57,407-square-foot mixed-use building at 92-54 Queens Boulevard in Rego Park, Queens. David Schwartz, co-founder and principal of Slate Property Group, filled the plans. Hai Keng Luo is listed as the owner of the property, according to city records.

These are the fifth new building plans filed in the neighborhood so far this year. Similarly, there were five new building plans filed in Rego Park last year.

The plans call for the construction of an 83-foot-tall, eight-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00623509. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: construct new eight-story mixed-use building as per plans filed.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have recreation space, a lobby, community space, office space, and a break room. The second floor will have 13 dwelling units. Floors three through six will be used for community space. The seventh floor will have 12 dwelling units and the eighth floor will have 11 dwelling units.

The architect listed is Aufgang Architects.

The property was acquired for $9.7 million on August 13, 2018.
