Ascent Development submits condo plan with 130 units in LIC

On October 7, a condominium plan was submitted by Ascent Development for 130 residential units at 45-25 Davis Street in Long Island City, Queens. The project has an alternate address of 45-30 Pearson Street.

The condo plan, CD210284, lists Amit Veeramachaneni and Zhidong Wu as the principals.

In February of 2019, Veeramachaneni filed new building plans with the city’s Department of Buildings calling for the construction of a 273-foot tall, 24-story, 101,129-square-foot mixed-use building at the property.

The new building plans state there will only be 92 residential units in the building. Earlier this year it was reported that the developer had secured $48.2 million in new loans, which would be used to add 38 units to the project, bringing the total to 130 units. However, that has not yet been reflected in the DOB plans.

Yimby released renderings for the plans earlier this year.

Per the plans, amenities in the building will include recreation spaces, lounges, an exercise room, and a playroom. The residential units begin on the third floor, with six, and continue on each floor up the the 24th floor.

The plans received initial construction permits in February.
