Arjan Gjushi files plans for 59-unit residential building in Highbridge

Arjan Gjushi through the company Jesup Development LLC, on November 6, filed a permit application for construction of a 59-unit, 43,411-square-foot residential building at 1591 Jesup Avenue in Highbridge, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of a 64-foot tall, eight-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: construct new eight-story building.

The cellar will have storage space and a laundry room, according to the plans. The ground floor will be split between a residential lobby and a community facility. Floors two through seven will each have seven dwelling units per floor, while the eighth floor will have five dwelling units and recreation rooms. The building will have 18 parking spaces located outside.

Badaly Architects is listed as the architect.

Last year, on October 15, 2019, the developer filed similar plans to construct a smaller 24,414-square-foot building with 46-units at the property. The plans were permitted this past July.

The property was acquired for $900,000 on October 19, 2018.
