Arisa Realty permitted 220-key hotel in Hudson Yards, seven years after plans were filed

Arisa Realty, on March 20, received a permit for construction of a 220-unit, 95,326-square-foot hotel at 432 West 31st Street in Hudson Yards. Mordy Lipkis filed the plans.

The permits come seven years after the developer filed plans for the construction of the hotel building.

The developer purchased the property for $11 million on August 28, 2013, according to city records.

The plans, pre-filed on March 20, 2014, call for the construction of a 275-foot tall, 25-story hotel on a 42-foot by 94-foot lot fronting the Dyer Avenue approach to the Lincoln Tunnel, across the street from Brookfield Properties’ Manhattan West and one block from Related Companies’ Hudson Yard complex.

6sqft published a series of renderings for the development in 2017.

The project is described in the filings as: filing herewith new hotel building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby. Floors three through 22 will each have 11 hotel rooms per floor. The 24th floor will have a kitchen, lounges, and dining room. The 25th floor will have a lounge, conference room, and terrace.

Danny Forster Design Studio is the architect.
