ArchCare files plans for $6M change in use to two floors at Terence Cardinal Cooke nursing home in Carnegie Hill
ArchCare, on March 31, filed a permit application for a $6.5 million change in use to two floors of its 488,783-square-foot nursing home at 1249 Fifth Avenue in Carnegie Hill.
The plans call for no change in size but a change in use of the 147-foot tall, 10-story, building, which is the Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center.
The project is described in the filings as: herewith filing Alt 1 for interior renovation work related to 7th and 8th floors “specialty hospital” change of use as per plans filed.
The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,476,245.
