Ampiera Group permitted for 78-unit resi building in Woodside

Ampiera Group, on June 1, was given a permit for construction of a 78-unit, 60,774-square-foot residential building at 40-22 61st Street in Woodside. Henry Zhao filed the plans.

The permit issued was a new building permit, the developer received foundation permits last week.

The plans, pre-filed on June 8, 2020, call for the construction of a 68-foot tall, seven-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: new seven-story residential building.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby, gym, outdoor recreation space, and 13 dwelling units. Floors two through four will each have 14 dwelling units per floor, floors five and six will each have eight dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have seven dwelling units. The cellar and sub-cellar will have parking for 71 cars in total.

Two demolition were completed in January of last year for a one-story garage and two-story house that were occupying the property.

The property was acquired for $3.1 million on April 26, 2019.
