ABCNY Inc. files plans for 56-unit mixed-use building in Morris Heights
Moris Yeroshalmi of ABCNY Inc., on May 16, filed a permit application for construction of a 56-unit, 41,759-square-foot mixed-use building at 1985 Jerome Avenue in Morris Heights, the Bronx.
These are the third new building plans filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months. Of the three plans, these plans call for the construction of the most dwelling units.
The plans call for the construction of a 70-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00735128.
The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 108 feet.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed seven-story residential and commercial building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have commercial retail space, recreation spaces, and two dwelling units. Floors two through seven will each have nine dwelling units per floor.
The architect listed is Arc Architecture + Design Studio.
The property was acquired for $1.4 million on December 19, 2006.
