$8.7M build out of one floor completed at 55 Hudson Yards
On July 29, an $8.7 million build out of one floor of an office building, referred to as 55 Hudson Yards, at 550 West 34th Street in Hudson Yards, was marked as completed. The massive office building is owned by Related Companies, Mitsui Fudosan, and Oxford Properties.
The plans, pre-filed on May 15, 2019 by Vista Equity Partners, call for work on the 22nd floor of the 768-foot tall, 51-story, building.
The building was given its initial temporary certificate of occupancy in December 2018.
The project is described in the filings as: Vista: general construction of office spaces. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,700,000.
News reports indicate Vista Equity Partners occupies the 23rd floor of the tower, while the 22nd floor is occupied by Centiva Capital and Nut Tree Capital Management.
