$4.8M health care fit-out completed at The Ansonia in the UWS

On April 2, a $4.8 million fit-out for an ambulatory endoscopy center was formally completed at The Ansonia, at 2101 Broadway in the Upper West Side. Marc Lippman, the managing agent, filed the plans.

The plans, pre-filed on April 28, 2020, call for work on the cellar and ground floor of the 220-foot tall, 17-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: interior demolition and fit-out of partitions, ceiling, door and storefront modifications for an ambulatory endoscopy center with a new entry, reception and waiting area on the ground floor and related construction as per plans. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $4,825,000.
