$3.3M build-out of two floors completed at 55 Hudson Yards
On August 14, a $3.3 million build-out of two floors of an office building, known as 55 Hudson Yards, at 550 West 34th Street in Hudson Yards was formally completed. The office building is owned by Related Companies, Mitsui Fudosan, and Oxford Properties.
The plans, pre-filed on April 4, 2018, call for a rehab of floors 39 and 40 of the 768-foot tall, 51-story, building. The plans were filed by the investment firm Silver Lake.
The project is described in the filings as: Silver Lake: general construction of office spaces. Architectural work The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3,250,000.
Reports circulated in February of 2017 that Silver Lake, an investment firm, was in talks to lease 50,000-square-feet in the Hudson Yards building.
On July 29, an $8.7 million build-out on the 22nd floor of the office building was completed.
