$6M external rehab filed for Brooklyn Heights commercial building
26 Court Street Associates, on August 25, filed a permit application for a $6 million rehabilitation of a building’s exterior at 26 Court Street in Brooklyn Heights.
The plans, call for a rehab of the facade and roof of the 290-foot tall, 29-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: it is proposed to file for facade repairs as shown on plans. no change to use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,000,000.
In October of 2013, the building’s managing agent filed alteration 1 plans to convert the ground floor restaurant space to an ambulatory diagnostic or treatment health care facility. According to the Schedule A, the upper floors remained office and trade school space.
