228-unit mixed-use building planned in Crown Heights

Y & T Development LLC is planning to construct a 17-story, 170,000-square-foot mixed-use development with 228 dwelling units at 870-888 Atlantic Avenue in Crown Heights.

The development will have 155,500-square-feet of residential space and 14,500-square-feet of commercial space. Of the 228 dwelling units, 69 will be affordable.

The plans were disclosed in a zoning map amendment to rezone a portion of a block from an M1-1 District to a C6-3A District and zoning text amendment to establish an MIH area to facilitate the development. Filing LINK.

Richard Lobel and Sheldon Lobel were listed as the applicant’s representatives.

Archimaera Architecture released renderings and design plans for the development.
