Wildflower signs contract to buy 3 Hunts Point parcels for $10.8M
Adam Gordon’s Wildflower Ltd. through the entity WF Industrial IX LLC signed a contract with the entity 745 Whittier Street LLC to purchase for an undisclosed amount 3 parcels, including the tax class miscellaneous open space (Z9) at 1340 Lafayette Avenue, 749 Whittier Street, and 745 Whittier Street in Hunts Point, the Bronx. The memorandum of contract was signed on December 2, 2020 and was recorded on December 30, 2020.
The contract price is $10.775 million, according to a person familiar with the transaction.
The property is 55,000 square feet with an 9,600-square-foot building.
The seller is an affiliate of the DiCola family, according to property records.
The anticipated closing date is January 29, 2021. The contract date was July 10, 2020. The last time at least one of the properties sold was August 5, 2003 for $800,000. Matthew Dicker was the signatory for the buyer.
Over the past five years, there has been one NYC Department of Buildings permit application filed for this parcel valued at more than $20,000. Of those there was one major renovation application including a certificate of occupancy change (A1) filed with a total estimated value of $20,000.0.
