Vornado files plans for $7.5M multi-floor rehab at 1 Park Avenue

Vornado Realty Trust, on October 20, filed a permit application for a $7.5 million rehabilitation of two floors of an office building, at 1 Park Avenue in Kips Bay.

The plans call for a rehab of floors nine and 12 of the 180-foot tall, 18-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: general construction work on the ninth and 12th floors as indicated on drawings. No change to use, egress, or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $7,480,000.

New York University’s Langone Medical Center is the buildings flagship tenant.
