Vadem Brodsky files plans for 25-unit mixed-use building in Crown Heights
Vadem Brodsky, on August 30, filed a permit application for construction of a 25-unit, 17,706-square-foot mixed-use building at 1206 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
These are the third, and largest, new building plans filed in the neighborhood so far this year. The neighborhood has experienced a drop-off in new development this year, after 17 new building plans were filed in 2020.
The plans call for the construction of a 73-foot-tall, eight-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00582367. The development site spans one tax lot.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed new eight-story and cellar mixed-use building. Proposed 25 dwelling units and community facility at ground floor.
The ground floor of the building will have a lobby and school. Floors two through six will each have four dwelling units per floor, the seventh floor will have three dwelling units, and the eighth floor will have two dwelling units.
The architect listed is Baobab Architects P.C.
The property was acquired for $1.7 million on March 14, 2016.
