Trust affiliated with Kaufman Organization sells UES co-op for $11.3M

David Wah and Elizabeth Economy paid the Braka Family Trust, through Steven Kaufman, president of the Kaufman Organization, as trustee, $11.3 million for the 16th floor apartment at 993 Fifth Avenue in the Upper East Side. The deal closed on November 26, 2019, and was recorded on December 2, 2019.

Over the past five years, there have been 8 NYC Department of Buildings permit applications filed for this parcel valued at more than $20,000. Of those there was one major renovation application including a certificate of occupancy change (A1) filed with a total estimated value of $240,000. There were 7 renovation/alteration projects (A2) applied for with a total estimated value of $2,040,870.
