Tishman files plans for $11.7M in fit-outs at The Wheeler in Downtown Brooklyn
Tishman Speyer, on July 15, filed two plans for a total of $11.7 million in fit-outs at the building known as The Wheeler at 422 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn.
The developer was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy in February for a $78.5 million vertical enlargement.
The first plans call for $6.4 million of work on floors six and seven of the 256-foot-tall, 14-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00545518.
The project is described in the filing as: Hereby filing to remove and construct interior partitions, ceilings, convenience stair, doors and lighting for tenant fit-out as shown on plans herewith. No change to use, occupancy or egress.
The architect listed is The Switzer Group.
The developer acquired the upper-levels of Macy’s four-story 422 Fulton Street building, as well as two neighboring 10-story buildings for $170 million in 2015.

The second plans call for $5.3 million of work on the fifth floor of the 256-foot-tall, 14-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00545827.
The project is described in the filing as: Hereby filing to remove and construct interior partitions, ceilings, convenience stair and doors for tenant fit-out as shown on plans filed herewith. No change to use, occupancy, or egress.
The architect once again was listed as The Switzer Group.
