VAJA Group files plans for 42-unit resi building in Schuylerville

The VAJA Group, on April 6, filed a permit application for construction of a 42-unit, 25,000-square-foot residential building at 2135 Colonial Avenue in Schuylerville, the Bronx. Moses Freund, managing partner at the VAJA Group, filed the plans.

Since December of 2021, the developer has filed at least 10 new building plans. Most recently, the developer filed plans for the construction of a 22-unit, 14,991-square-foot residential building at 2176 Bathgate Avenue in Tremont, Bronx.

The Shuylerville plans call for the construction of an 84-foot-tall, eight-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00710266. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed eight-story residential building: subject to 421-a deadline.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have parking space. Floors two through eight will each have eight dwelling units per floor. The cellar will have recreation space.

The architect listed is S. Wieder Architect P.C.

The property was acquired for $500,000 on May 29, 2014.
