The Chinese American Planning Council files plans for a $1K change in use to a 132 sf residential building in Lower East Side

The Chinese American Planning Council, on April 15, filed a permit application for a $1,000 change in use of a 132,142-square-foot residential building at 50 Norfolk Street in Lower East Side.

The plans call for no change in size but a change in use of the 126-foot tall, 14-story, 132,142-square-foot building.

The project is described in the filings as: no work alteration type 1 application for zoning lot change associated with large scale redevelopment. no change of use, egress, occupancy or existing building bulk filed under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $1,000.
