TCO for 70-key SoBro Park Hotel in Mott Haven
Trise Development, on February 5, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 70-unit, 22,213-square-foot hotel building at 2568 Park Avenue in Mott Haven, the Bronx. Moe Yaghoubi of Trise filed the plans.
The firm was formerly known as Upper Manhattan Development Corporation.
The plans, pre-filed on October 21, 2016, call for the construction of a 113-foot tall, 11-story hotel. The time from pre-file to TCO was four years and four months.
The project is described in the filings as: new 11-story building.
The ground floor is used for a parking garage with 22 spaces, per the plans. The second floor has six rooms. Floors three through 10 each have eight rooms per floor.
According to the developer’s website, the building is called the SoBro Park Hotel.
The developer has completed other projects in the neighborhood as well, such as Morris Court, a 200-unit mixed-use building.
The property was acquired for $850,000 on December 5, 2012.
