Target signs 28K sf lease at Aurora, Adjmi’s 600 Broadway in Soho, 11th lease in 14 months

Target Corporation signed a lease for 27,600 square feet at Aurora Capital Associated and Alex Adjmi’s 600 Broadway in Soho. It was the 11th lease the retailer has recorded in the past in 14 months.

In this transaction, Target, as tenant, signed a memorandum of lease covering 27,600 square feet with landlord Aurora Capital Associates and Adjmi’s ACHS Management Corp. through its entity 600 Broadway Partners, LLC for space at 600 Broadway in Soho. The memorandum was signed on November 25, 2020 and was recorded on December 4, 2020.
The entire building contains a total of 65,192 square feet of built space.
This is the 11th lease Target has recorded in past 14 months in New York City. This one is for a 15-year lease that includes three extension options of five years each.
The lease is for the ground floor, lower level and sub cellar, with each about 9,000 square feet, a person familiar with the transaction said. The former Hollister space on the second and third floor is returning to office space. The signatory for Target was Michael Seaman, while Bobby Cayre of Aurora signed for the landlord.
The Real Deal analyzed the building’s finances in January, here.
