Sycamore Birch Management files plans for 60-unit resi building in Morrisania
Sycamore Birch Management, on February 26, filed a permit application for construction of a 60-unit, 75,939-square-foot residential building at 638 East 169th Street in Morrisania. Peter Bourbeau, president of Sycamore Birch Management, filed the plans.
The plans call for the construction of a 68-foot tall, seven-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: erect new seven-story residential building, containing commercial and community facility uses.
According to the plans, the first and second floors of the building will have commercial and community space. The third floor will have a residential lobby, 12 dwelling units, laundry, and a recreation space. Floors four and five will each have 13 dwelling units per floor, while floors six and seven will each have 11 dwelling units per floor. The cellar will have parking for 48 cars.
Peter Franzese, PE is listed as the architect.
Demolition plans have not been filed yet.
