Stagg Group permitted for 82-unit resi building in Wakefield
Stagg Group, on January 12, was given a permit for construction of an 82-unit, 72,018-square-foot residential building at 4435 White Plains Road in Wakefield.
The plans, pre-filed on March 9, 2020, call for the construction of a 75-foot tall, seven-story residential building. Jay Martino senior vice president of construction at the Stagg Group, filed the plans.
The project is described in the filings as: erection of seven-story residential with community facility and basketball court on the first floor.
Per the plans, the building’s cellar will have a parking garage with room for 43 cars. The ground floor will have a house of worship, lobby, storage space, laundry room, and recreation room. Floors two through six will each have 14 dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have 12 dwelling units.
Marin Architects is the architect listed.
No demolition plans have been filed, and they will likely not need to be, as the property has been vacant since the time of filing.
Reports around the time of filing indicated an estimated completion date had not been announced.
