Stagg Group files for 121-unit rental in Highbridge, purchased site last month

Mark Stagg’s Stagg Group, on December 7, filed a permit application for construction of a 121-unit, 80,678-square-foot residential building at 1245 Edward L Grant Highway in Highbridge. The developer’s firm acquired the property for $6.1 million last month.

The plans call for the construction of a 114-foot tall, 12-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: erection of 12-story residential building.

The ground floor will have a laundry room and recreation rooms, per the plans. Floors two through 12 will each have 12 dwelling units per floor.

Marin Architects will be the architect for the development.

Demolition plans were filed on December 3 for the commercial building currently occupying the property.

Stagg Group is also developing a 105-unit, 77,255-square-foot residential building at 1073 Summit Avenue in Highbridge. The firm was given initial construction permits for the development in September.
