SL Green permitted for $8.1M rehab, connected with $128M enlargement of One Madison

SL Green, on January 21, was given a permit for a $8.1 million rehabilitation of the sub-cellar of an office building at 1 Madison Avenue in Flatiron. The plans were filed in conjunction with a $128 million project which aims to nearly double the size of the building from 14 to 26 floors.

The plans, pre-filed on April 24, 2020 by John Krush, call for a rehab of the sub-cellar of the 150-foot tall, 14-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: application filed for foundation modifications in conjunction with alteration 1 #123742101. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,092,000.

Severud Associates is listed as the architect.

The entire project has a projected completion date of 2024.
