SL Green finishes $2.6M lobby rehab of office building in Midtown West
SL Green Realty, on August 4, formally completed a $2.6 million rehabilitation of the lobby of a commercial building, formerly known as the J.P. Stevens Tower, at 1185 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown West.
The plans, pre-filed on July 3, 2017, call for a rehab of the ground-floor lobby of the 420-foot tall, 42-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: interior and exterior alterations on the first floor (lobby renovation) as per plans. no change to use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $2,593,000.
The architect listed on the filing is MdeAS Architects.
Last month the developer completed a $2.2 million rehab of the fourth and fifth floors of the building.
SL Green has filed four A2 renovation plans at the building so far this year, the most recent coming on July 28.
