SL Green finishes $6.5M build-out for tenant MFA Financial at One Vanderbilt
SL Green Realty, on February 22, formally completed a $6.5 million build-out of one floor of an office building, commonly known as One Vanderbilt, at 10 Vanderbilt Avenue in Grand Central. The floor is leased by tenant MFA Financial.
The 1,298,506-square-foot office building received its initial TCO in September of 2020.
The plans, pre-filed on February 5, 2020, call for work on the 37th floor of the 1,401-foot tall, 67-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: tenant is MFA Financial – new tenant build-out on the 37th floor (48th floor marketing) at 1 Vandy. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,493,000.
Spector Group was the architect named.
The Real Deal reported the lease is for roughly 30,000-square-feet of space for 15 years with a five-year renewal option. However, the report indicated that the floor MFA leased was 47.
TD Bank, Carlyle Group, KPS Capital Partners, Oak Hill Partners, Greenberg Traurig, and McDermott Will & Emery also lease space in the tower.
