SL Green files plans for $3.7M rehab of Lipstick Building lobby

SL Green Realty, on February 28, filed plans for a $3.7 million rehabilitation of one floor of a building at 885 Third Avenue, known as the Lipstick Building, in Midtown East, Manhattan.

The ownership structure of the building is complex, involving ground leases.

The plans call for work on the ground floor of the 442-foot-tall, 36-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00676802.

The project is described in the filing as: installation of new floor finishes, wall finishes, suspended ceilings and minor storefront modifications on the first floor (lobby renovation) as per plans. No change to use, egress or occupancy.
