SL Green files plans for $9.7M single-floor rehab at One Madison Avenue

SL Green, on November 11, filed plans for a $9.7M rehab of one floor of a building at 1 Madison Avenue in Flatiron.

The building is undergoing a major alteration which aims to nearly double the size of the building from 14 to 27 floors. The developer filed plans $128 million plans connected to the project in November of 2019, which were permitted in January of this year. Then, in February of last year, the developer filed plans for a $42 million project which was connected to the larger alteration. Those plans were permitted last December.

Over the previous 12 months, there have been $125,090,868 worth of alteration plans filed at the building.

The plans call for work on the ground floor of the 150-foot-tall, 14-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00610440.

The project is described in the filing as: Removal and installation of interior nonbearing partitions as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application.

The architect listed is Vocon.
