SL Green files plans for $13.9M project at site of 178K building being constructed for Pace University in FiDi

SL Green Realty, on May 3, filed plans for a $13.9 million project at the site of an under-construction 178,171-square-foot building for Pace University at 15 Beekman Street in Financial District, Manhattan.

In June of 2020, SL Green filed a permit application for construction of a 38-foot tall, 27-story, 178,299-square-foot building at the site.

Pace University signed a 30-year lease for an undisclosed price to occupy the entire building back in March of 2020. SL Green has built buildings for Pace University in the past, at 33 Beekman Street in 2015 and 180 Broadway in 2013.

The plans call for work on floors one through 11 of the 338-foot-tall, 27-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00689552.

The project is described in the filing as: installation of new interior partitions, doors, suspended ceilings and finishes (Pace University) as per plans. No change to use, egress or occupancy.

The architect listed is Architecture Research Office.
