Silverstein Properties finishes $10M multi-floor rehab of Americas Tower in Midtown
Silverstein Properties, on January 27, formally completed a $10 million rehabilitation of multiple floors of an office building, known as Americas Tower, at 1177 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown.
The plans, pre-filed on March 14, 2018, call for a rehab of floors 22, 26, 29, and 30 of the 647-foot tall, 48-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: interior modifications of non-load-bearing partitions (Phase 2) as per plans filed herewith. No change to use, egress, or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $10,000,000.
Gensler was listed as the architect.
The developer finished a $9.1 million rehab of floors 27 and 28 in the building last month. The month before, $4 million rehab plans for the 12th floor were filed.
