The developments are part of the 866 affordable housing units in the Bronx announced by Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Catholic Charities. Of the 866 total units, 112 are slated to be located at St. Augustine, which was an Archdiocesan church that closed in 2011
The first plans, pre-filed on January 17, 2020, call for the construction of a 139-foot tall, 14-story, 95,722-square-foot residential building with 101 residential units at 3054 Villa Avenue.
The project is described in the filings as: new 14 stories multiple dwelling building.
The second floor of the building will have four dwelling units, floors three through five will each have 10 dwelling units, floors six through nine will each have eight dwelling units, and floors 10 through 14 will each have seven dwelling units. The units will most likely be rentals based on the average unit scope of 952-square-feet.

The second plans, pre-filed on October 21, 2019, call for the construction of a 114-foot tall, 12-story, 71,493-square-foot residential building with 85 residential units at 3069 Villa Avenue.
The project is described in the filings as: new 12 stories multiple dwelling building.
Floors two through seven of the building will have eight dwelling units each, according to the plans. Floors eight and nine will each have eight dwelling units, and floors 10 through 14 will each have seven units. The building will have multiple outdoor recreational spaces and parking for 12 cars. The units will most likely be rentals based on the average unit scope of 840-square-feet.
