Saba Vadhat files plans for 22-unit mixed-use building in Central Harlem
Saba Vadhat through the company Empire Development Fund 3 LLC, on October 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 22-unit, 18,055-square-foot mixed-use building at 2535 Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Central Harlem.
The plans call for the construction of a 102-foot tall, eight-story mixed-use building.
The project is described in the filings as: filing to erect a new eight-story new building per plans herewith.
The cellar and the ground floor will be used for community space in the form of a house of worship. Floors two through six will each have three dwelling units per floor, the seventh floor will have two dwelling units, while the eighth floor will have three dwelling units.
Kossar & Garry Architect is listed as the architecture firm.
The property was acquired for $1.5 million on December 11, 2015.
Demolition plans have not been filed and likely will not be needed as the lot is currently vacant.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
